City Champions - May 23, 2005 VNEA Tucson is pleased to announce that The Chicago Bar #1 team are the New City Champions for the first time since the inception of our great pool league in 1997.  Congratulations and know that your team will be holding the beautiful New City Championship Trophy for the next year, along with the $300.00 first prize money.  The remaining tournament teams were as follows: 2nd place - Peppers Untouchables $200.00 3rd place - Mint’s Killer Bee’s  $150.00 4th place - Chariots Gladiators  $100.00 5th & 6th - place Tommy’s Guns and Buggywheel Boyz $50.00 each 7th & 8th - place Salty Dawg and Stein & Dine #1   $25.00 each   City Championship for 2006 It was another good year for the City Championship.  We want to thank the twelve teams that entered the Championship.  Of the twelve teams that entered, six made it to the final day.  The order of how they finished is as follows: 1st place - Golden Nugget 2nd place - Chicago Bar 3rd place - Putney's 4th place - Tommy's Guns 5th/6th place - Buggy Wheel Boyz/Touchdown Breakers
